Founded in Madrid in 2009 by Javier Andr�s, ticketea is the leading platform for self-managed events and ticket sales in Spain. It provides a platform for organising any kind of event for any organisation or individual, whether it be professional or recreational, as well as the buying of tickets for these events, with a user experience characterised by its simplicity and security.

Ticketea features four distribution channels for ticket distribution: its own web page for users wishing to discover all kinds of events, its white-label technology allowing organisers to sell tickets via their own website, a Facebook application for company pages, and finally, an advanced box office system offered via a free iPad app to sell general or numbered tickets at the event venue.
On top of these 4 distribution channels, ticketea has also created a free iOS and Android app for event access control.
